Conservation & TPO

Many of our customers are unsure or unaware of whether their tree(s) fall within the limitations of a conservation area or are subject to TPO. Essentially, these terms mean the trees are protected and before any work can be carried out on them permission must be sought from the relevant council.

Failure to retrieve the necessary permission ultimately means that should any work be proceeded with then both the owner of the tree and the tree surgeons are liable and face a fine.

Let Us Help

Here at Deadwood Arborists, we are happy to complete the necessary applications to claim the council's approval and ensure all tree work we carry out is legitimate.

It must be noted, this service is only available to confirmed customers and we will only start the application upon agreement of the quotation.

The customer will receive a copy of each update that we receive regarding the status of the application and the final decision notice.

How To Find Out

If you are unaware whether your trees/property falls within the constraints of TPO or Conservation, check the relevant section of your local council website and search on the maps provided.
